On behalf of the Olive Grove Credit Union Organizing Committee, we are honored to invite your organization to partner with us in an important and community-defining initiative: the formation of Olive Grove Credit Union, a proposed community-owned financial cooperative serving Southeast Michigan.
Olive Grove Credit Union is being established to expand access to fair, ethical, and community-centered financial services for individuals and families in our region. Our mission is to promote financial stability, responsible wealth-building, and local economic resilience through a member-owned credit union rooted in shared values and mutual support.
As part of the chartering process, we are currently conducting a Future Member Survey to demonstrate community need, geographic reach, and member diversity. We respectfully invite your organization and its members to complete and share this brief online survey. Community participation at this stage directly informs the products, services, and educational programs Olive Grove Credit Union will offer once chartered.
In parallel, we are raising start-up and operating funds necessary to meet regulatory readiness requirements and advance toward formal charter approval. We welcome organizational donations or in-kind sponsorships to support outreach, education, and organizing efforts. While these contributions are not financial investments, all supporters will be recognized as Founding Supporters of Olive Grove Credit Union, helping to establish a lasting community asset for Southeast Michigan.

To be eligible for membership in Olive Grove Credit Union, you must first be a member of the Olive Grove Community Association, our designated field-of-membership partner.
Membership in the Olive Grove Community Association is free and open to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Southeast Michigan, and who are committed to strengthening community financial well-being.
You do not need to belong to a specific ethnic, national, or religious group
You simply need to share our commitment to responsible financial growth, mutual support, and local community empowerment
Once enrolled in the association, you may apply for membership with Olive Grove Credit Union and access our cooperative financial services.
